DILG XII conducts CPES Assessment of DTI-RAPID Growth project

On June 20, 2024, the DILG XII - Project Development Management Unit (PDMU) carried out a Cross-Contractor's Performance Evaluation System (CPES) Assessment for an ongoing project under the Department of Trade and Industry’s Rural Agro-Industrial Partnership for Inclusive Development and Growth (DTI-RAPID) Growth in the Municipality of Senator Ninoy Aquino, Sultan Kudarat.

The project, with a budget of Php 22,500,000.00, involves concreting the National Highway Junction (NHJ) Paghidaet-Maligaya (Kadi FMR) located at Barangay Kadi.

The purpose of the assessment was to evaluate the contractor's performance regarding work quality, material quality and control, administrative and technical document completeness, and timeliness. The project is expected to benefit the residents of Brgy. Kadi by improving the transport of their farm products, such as coffee, rubber, and cacao.

DILG Technical Engineers present during the evaluation included Engr. Krisnan Panisa (Team Leader), Engr. John Stephen R. Manghano (Secretariat), Engr. Freddie Pedroso, Engr. Shelo Adaya, Engr. Marlo Taghoy, and Ivan Roy Cabangon, the Municipal Engineer and Project Engineer from LGU SNA.

The Cross-Evaluation of Contractor Performance is an initiative by DILG XII - PDMU to ensure transparency in every project and evaluation. This allows technical engineers to cross-assess projects implemented by different provinces. The accredited CPES-Technical Engineers will submit their reports and assessment results to the Construction Industry Authority of the Philippines (CIAP) for performance records and to provide contractors with necessary interventions to comply with the Board's policies.
