The Disaster Preparedness Committee of the Regional Disaster Risk Reduction Management Committee conducted its first virtual meeting on February 2, 2022. It was attended by 14 member-agencies and presided over by the DILG XII Regional Director and Vice Chairperson for Disaster Preparedness Committee, Josephine Cabrido-Leysa, CESO III.
Mr. Binrio A. Biñan of PAGASA Gensan discussed the weather outlook while Ms. Sheila Mae G. Kubik of DILG XII presented the status of compliance of LGUs on the formulation of Public Service Continuity and Contingency Plan. 43 out of 45 LGUs have already submitted their PSCP to the Office of Civil Defense XII.
