In 2017, DILG XII portrays enthusiasm and commitment to engage again with the flagship program of the Department- the Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG). All of its fifty-four (54) provincial, city and municipal LGUs are prepared for the endeavor. All the LGPMS Team of the LGUs were reorganized and the SGLG Group account was created for constant update and for avenue of forum to address the issues and concerns encountered during the phases of the program implementation.
The National Orientation slated on April 25-26 was attended by the Regional Director, LGMED Chief, and the Regional and Provincial Focal Persons. After the activity, the roll-out for the DILG field offices and LGUs followed.
A month of Regional Assessment and Validation was set on May 15-June 02, 2017. The Regional Assessment Teams (RATs) were comprised of the LGMED Chief, Outcome and Program Managers, SGLG Focal Persons and CSO Partners.
