On January 20, 2025, DILG Dose led by Regional Director Atty. Rochelle D. Mahinay-Sero, CESE, made a New Year's call to Cotabato Governor Emmylou "Lala" J. Taliño Mendoza, MNSA, highlighting a stronger partnership and alignment of goals for 2025.

RD Sero congratulated Governor Mendoza for her outstanding leadership, which allowed the Province of Cotabato to achieve the prestigious CY 2024 Seal of Good Local Governance Award. The achievement demonstrates the governor's unwavering commitment to public service and good governance.

In response, Governor Mendoza reaffirmed her full support for DILG's initiatives to promote accountability and excellent local governance. She underlined the significance of collaboration in maintaining transparency, accountability, and service excellence.
