In an effort to support the Local Government Unit of Senator Ninoy Aquino, Sultan Kudarat in its journey towards achieving the Seal of Good Local Governance, DILG Dose Regional Director, Atty. Rochelle D. Mahinay-Sero, CESE, interfaced with Mayor Randy L. Ecija and other local officials on January 14, 2025. RD Sero was joined by Assistant Regional Director Samuel A. Camaganacan, CE; Provincial Director Margarita H. Baynosa, MPA; DILG Dose Regional Office Division Chiefs; and MLGOO Ricii Exiomo.

Chief Ian Jon S. Clemente of the Monitoring and Evaluation Division presented the LGU's compliance level during the conference based on the 2024 SGLG implementation. Capacity Development Division Chief Maria Theresa D. Bautista then outlined the interventions the LGU needs to close their performance gaps to at least a level that will satisfy the minimum benchmark for the SGLG.

According to Mayor Ecija, they will do their best to address their performance gaps in the SGLG. “Admittedly, marami pa kaming kelangan gawin, pero through our collaborative effort, malayo-layo na rin ang narating ng SNA”. At the same time, RD Sero assures that, “What we hope to achieve in this meeting is that you will have a renewed vigor and commitment to serve your community.” She reassured them that the DILG will continue to assist in capacitating the LGU through its Regional Institutional Development Support (RIDS) Buylog Dose Program.
