The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Region XII, through its Project Development and Management Unit (PDMU), participated in the turnover ceremony of vital infrastructure projects funded under the FY 2022 Local Government Support Fund - Support to Barangay Development Program (LGSF-SBDP) in Brgy. Lamfugon, Lake Sebu, South Cotabato on October 9, 2024.

Among the completed projects were the Health Station worth ₱1.5 million, and Level II Potable Water System worth ₱2.5 million. These facilities are expected to significantly improve access to healthcare services and clean water, addressing two critical needs in the community.

The turnover ceremony was led by OIC-Provincial Director Hayd-Ali S. Suwaib, along with DILG technical engineers, Municipal Engineer Kevin John Malinog, and Punong Barangay Tuding Angkoy. Their collective efforts mark a significant milestone in enhancing the quality of life for residents of Brgy. Lamfugon

Furthermore, DILG XII officially handed over the completed 350-meter Farm-to-Market Road in Sitio Kabaling, Brgy. Klubi, Lake Sebu on October 16, 2024. This ₱4 million road project is set to benefit 4,752 residents and 1,037 households, greatly improving the transportation of agricultural products and enhancing access to essential services for the community.

Both projects are expected to have a long-term positive impact, improving the overall connectivity and quality of life in Lake Sebu, South Cotabato.
