In preparation to the series of activities on strengthening the local planning process to be implemented within the 4th Quarter of CY2018, the Program Managers, Comprehensive Development Plan (CDP) Focal Persons, and Support to Local Government Program (SLGP) personnel gathered during the 2- Day Conference held last August 23- 24, 2018 at 105 Hotel, Koronadal City, South Cotabato. 

            Based on the updated CDP Status Compliance of Region XII, the interactive discussion highlighted the CDP Mainstreaming Process covering the Disaster Risk Reduction- Climate Change Adaptation (DRR- CCA), Gender Sensitivity, Nutrition, and Conflict Sensitivity and Peace Promoting (CSPP) in harmonization to the Rationalized Planning Indicator Data Set (RaPIDS) as well as on the most- awaited CDP Assessment/ Review.

Further, Resource Speakers from National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) XII and Department of Budget (DBM) XII imparted relevant inputs on the Regional Development Plan- Results Matrices (RDP- RRM) for 2017- 2022  relative to the localization on Philippine Development Plan (PDP) 2017- 2022 and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the Salient Features on Local Budget Process, respectively.

At the concluding part, an action planning was held for the marathon timeline of cascading the above- mentioned activities. Indeed, the Conference was a success in revitalizing the capacities of the attendees as key implementers of all endeavors on CDP before the year 2018 shall end.
