The DILG being the lead convener of MASA MASID, a program designed to heighten community involvement by mobilizing the support of local stakeholders, volunteers, civic organizations, faith-based organizations, and the private sectors in the fight against illegal drugs, criminality and corruption, has provided an avenue for the Province to conduct an orientation for a core group of local government functionaries who will be in charge in ensuring that the MASA MASID Teams and Volunteers can effectively and efficiently deliver the needed intervention for drug surrenderers.

The Department of the Interior and Local Government conducted a coordination meeting with the Department of Social Welfare and Development for the implementation of the Operation LISTO: LISTONG Pamilyang Pilipino on June 9, 2017 at Agua Frio Garden Resort, Koronadal City.

The DILG DRR-CCA Provincial Focal Persons met with the 4Ps Regional Program Coordinator and 4Ps Provincial and City Links for the levelling off and updates on the roll-out of Gabay at Mapa IEC Material in the conduct of the Family Development Sessions of the latter in the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program beneficiaries.

The Department of the Interior and Local Government conducted the Orientation on the Management of the Dead and the Missing Persons on June 8, 2017 at Agua Frio Garden Resort, Koronadal City. It was attended by DILG Key Officials, P/C/MDRRMOs, and C/MLGOOs.

To ensure the implementation of the Magna Carta of Women in the region, DILG, in partnership with the Philippine Commission on Women (PCW) conducted the Basic Gender and Development (GAD) Orientation to the members of the DILG GAD Focal Point System (GFPS) and selected DILG XII regional office personnel on March 31 – June 1, 2017 at Paraiso Verde Hotel, Koronadal City. 

The activity was graced by the OIC Assistant Regional Director Lailyn A. Ortiz, CESE in behalf of the Regional Director Reynaldo M. Bungubung, CESO IV.

Following the declaration of Martial Law in Mindanao, the Regional Peace and Order Council (RPOC) XII through the chairmanship of Governor Pax S. Mangudadatu of Sultan Kudarat convened to discuss the security measures of the authorities in the Region, and to come up with a collaborative efforts in addressing related issues.

The special meeting was held on May 29, 2017 at the King’s Hall, Provincial Office, Isulan, Sultan Kudarat, and was attended by all members including guests from the Commission on Human Rights (CHR) XII, and all the AFP and Philippine Marines Battalions Commanders assigned in Region XII.
