With the implementation of the MITHI-approved Information Systems Strategic Plan 2018-2020, the Information Systems and Technology Management Service (ISTMS) in coordination with the concerned offices, have developed the Seal of Good Local Governance for Barangay Application System and the Report Compliance Monitoring System that supports the mandate of the department on the general supervision, monitoring and evaluation of the Local Government Units.  

The Seal of Good Local Governance for Barangay (SGLGB) is an award and incentive program for performing barangay governments in the areas of Peace and order, Financial Administration, Disaster Preparedness, Social Protection, Business-Friendliness and Competitiveness and Environment Management.

Likewise, the Report Compliance Monitoring System (RCMS), a sub-module of the DILG LG Sector Monitoring and Reporting System (MRS) which is accessible through the DILG Intranet (https://intranet.dilg.gov.ph) is a system that facilitates the submission of policy compliance reports coming from the field offices.
