DILG REGION XII RECOGNIZED AS ONE OF THE TOP PERFORMING REGIONAL OFFICES IN EODB IMPLEMENTATION FOR FY 2025

The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Region XII has been recognized as one of the nine (9) Top Performing Regions in the nationwide implementation of the Ease of Doing Business (EODB) programs, projects and activities for Fiscal Year 2025 during the Workshop on Assessing the EODB Program from November 25-27, 2025 at the Royal Mandaya Hotel, Davao City.

Alongside the regional award, LGOO IV Shylack C. Limao was also recognized among the Top Performing Regional Focal for FY 2025 and officially received the certificates during the Recognition of DILG Regions’ Efforts on EODB in the closing ceremony.

The three-day Workshop on Assessing the EODB Program was attended by the DILG Division Chiefs and Regional EODB Focal Persons nationwide together with the DILG Bureau of Local Government Development (BLGD) personnel.

The first day of the activity highlighted the presentation by the DILG Regional Offices of their respective Physical and Financial Accomplishments for FY 2025 of the EODB PPAs.

The second day focused on the Workshops on Assessing the Implementation of EODB Projects/Activities and Results of the EODB Compliance Audit and the Presentation and Critiquing of Outputs by group.

On the third day was the Planning Workshop on EODB Plans, projects and activities (PPAs) for FY 2026 followed by the Recognition of DILG Regions’ Efforts on EODB and the closing message delivered by Dir. Maria Angela Monica Salud B. Mamuyac, Assistant Director, BLGD. In her message, Dir. Mamuyac thanked all regions for their support and extraordinary efforts in the implementation of the EODB PPAs FY 2025 and looks forward for the continuous dedication and commitment in the delivery and performance of service.

The Workshop on Assessing the EODB Program is an annual activity of the department through the BLGD that gathers all EODB Regional Focal Persons nationwide for the conduct of the Year-End Assessment of the EODB Locally Funded Projects
