DILG XII ORIENTS LGUs ON EODB OMS, TelPOMS
The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) XII, through its Local Government Capability Development Division (LGCDD), in coordination with the Regional Information and Communications Technology Unit (RICTU), conducted an orientation on the Ease of Doing Business Online Monitoring System (EODB OMS) and the Telecommunication Permit Online Monitoring System (TelPOMS) on July 21, 2026, via Zoom.
The activity equipped concerned city and municipal functionaries with a comprehensive understanding of the systems’ features, functions, and processes. It also emphasized the importance of submitting complete, accurate, and timely EODB-related reports.
Participants included Business Permit and Licensing Officers, Building Officials, Planning and Development Coordinators, Information Technology Officers, DILG Provincial and City EODB Focal Persons and Alternates, DILG Provincial and Highly Urbanized City Information Technology Personnel, and City and Municipal Local Government Operations Officers across the region.
In her opening message, DILG XII Regional Director Atty. Rochelle D. Mahinay-Sero, CESO III, described the orientation as an opportunity for LGU functionaries and DILG field personnel to strengthen their knowledge and skills in using the EODB OMS and TelPOMS.
“By strengthening the capacity of LGUs and making local systems more efficient and accountable, we help advance local autonomy and contribute to building a Bagong Pilipinas founded on responsive, transparent, and people-centered governance,” RD Mahinay-Sero emphasized.
LGOO IV and EODB Regional Focal Person Shylack C. Limao of the LGCDD, Information Analyst II John Jay G. Paterno, and Information Analyst I Rico Ceazar A. Borra of the RICTU served as resource persons during the orientation.
OIC Assistant Regional Director Samuel A. Camaganacan, CE, delivered the closing message. He thanked the participants for their active engagement and underscored that the DILG XII Regional Management is counting on everyone to ensure that all required reports are complete, accurate, and submitted on time
