The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) XII, through the Local Government Capability Development Division (LGCDD), conducted the DILG XII and DA XII Coordination Meeting on KADIWA ng Pangulo Program on May 7, 2026, at Wagi Hall B, 3rd Floor Conference Room, DILG Regional Office XII, City of Koronadal.

This was attended by Chief Josalyn T. Jomuad of the Market and Development Section of the Department of Agriculture (DA) XII and OIC Chief Mary Ann R. Traspe of DILG XII LGCDD together with the concerned Regional office personnel.

The meeting serves as DILG Rehiyon Doses’ initiative to discuss and present updates and activities related to KADIWA ng Pangulo, to ensure a more collaborative, efficient, and effective implementation of the program. This endeavor helps encourage all local government units in the region to enact their respective KNP Ordinances.

The activity started with the usual preliminaries and the acknowledgment of participants by LGOO III Rudelyn V. Timogtimog, followed by the opening and welcome message.

In the said meeting, LGCDD OIC Chief Mary Ann R. Traspe delivered the opening and welcome message. In her message, she highlighted the importance of working collaboratively and helping one another to support our LGUs in the successful and effective implementation of KNP in their respective communities.

LGOO IV Shylack C. Limao, Regional EODB Focal Person, presented the result of the KADIWA Monitoring and Validation to select LGUs conducted on December 1-4, 2025, followed by the presentation of the List of LGUs with KADIWA Ordinance in compliance with the DILG Memorandum Circular No. 2024-003.

This was followed by a discussion of possible strategies and approaches to assist LGUs in enacting their respective KADIWA Ordinances.

The DILG XII and DA XII Coordination Meeting on the KADIWA ng Pangulo Program successfully concluded with fruitful discussions, along with identified agreements and ways forward.
