The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) XII through the Local Government Capability Development Division (LGCDD) conducted the Second Quarter EODB Focal Persons Conference on April 28, 2026 via Zoom.

This was attended by the DILG Provincial and City EODB Focal Persons and Alternates and concerned LGCDD Regional office personnel.

The conference serves as the Region’s initiative to present updates on the Calendar Year (CY) 2026 Improve LGU Competitiveness and Ease of Doing Business (EODB) related activities, and to discuss related issues and concerns for the effective and efficient implementation of the EODB program in Rehiyon Dose.

The activity started with the usual preliminaries and the acknowledgement of participants by LGOO IV Shylack C. Limao, Regional EODB Focal Person followed by the opening and welcome message.

In the said conference, LGCDD OIC Chief Mary Ann R. Traspe delivered the opening and welcome message. In her message she highlighted the essence and importance to continuously work together and help one another in providing better services to the local government units of the region.

LGOO IV Shylack C. Limao Regional EODB Focal Person presented the Updates on the Regional Coordination Meeting CY 2026 Improve LGU Competitiveness and Ease of Doing Business (EODB)-related Activities, Update on CY 2026 Ease of Doing Business (EODB)-related Activities, EODB Compliance Audit Result and Status of Interventions Provided, Updates on the CY 2025 2^nd Semester Online Monitoring System Reports (BPLS, BPCO, ERR, PSs and MSBs), Status of LGU Compliance on the issuance of related Ordinances/Code, and Other Matters.

The Second Quarter EODB Focal Persons Conference successfully ended with a fruitful discussion among the Provincial and City EODB Focal Persons along with the identified agreements and ways forward.
