The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) XII, through the Local Government Capability Development Division (LGCDD) in coordination with the DILG Province of Sultan Kudarat and the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) XII, conducted the Capacity Building for the Local Government Units of the Province of Sultan Kudarat on CBMS Module III-B: Utilizing CBMS Data for Local Planning and Budgeting on March 17-19, 2026, at the Habi Hotel, City of Koronadal.

The said activity was graced by OIC-ARD Samuel A. Camaganacan, who delivered an opening and welcome message together with Atty. Maqtahar L. Manulon, CESO V, PSA XII Regional Director, represented by Wilmer S. Bacera, Senior Statistical Specialist, for the message of support.

This was attended by the Provincial and City/Municipal Planning and Development Officers/Coordinators, Provincial and City/Municipal CDP Focal Persons, Provincial and City/Municipal CBMS Focal Persons, and concerned DILG and PSA XII personnel.

LGOO IV Cheezza P. Mirasol-Cortero, DILG Provincial CBMS Focal Person, introduced the Training Team, facilitated the expectation setting, and presented the Overview of the Activity by giving emphasis on the objectives of the said activity to capacitate local government unit (LGU) focal persons on utilizing CBMS data on local governance processes and GEDSI initiatives, and to assist LGUs in integrating and using CBMS data in local governance processes.

Roselyn G. Fornan, Supervising Statistical Specialist of PSA XII in the Province of Sultan Kudarat, LGOO VI Mary Eulen Y. Abdilah, Program Manager of DILG Province of Cotabato, LGOO V Louigie L. Elizaga of DILG Province of Sultan Kudarat, and LGOO IV Shylack C. Limao of the Local Government Capability Development Division, DILG Regional Office XII served as the Resource Persons in the said Capacity Building activity.

The three-day Capacity Building for the Local Government Units of the Province of Sultan Kudarat on CBMS Module III-B: Utilizing CBMS Data for Local Planning and Budgeting successfully ended with the closing message delivered by LGOO VI/OIC Provincial Director Alex Nathan C. Garcia of DILG Province of Sultan Kudarat.
